Stopping Power

I am having problems in stopping my Zed ever since its come back with the mods giving more power. The stock calipers and Brembo discs doesn't seem to be effective enough. Today I panicked as to whether I would stop in time after a launch from the lights and then sudden traffic ahead.

 

Can you guys and gal please steer me in the right direction as to what my options are (cost effective wise) in terms of brake upgrades etc. Need to to know how much one needs to spend parts+labour for the upgrade. Finally any leads on where to source the parts ?

    Smithy sells big brake kits that use skyline GTR size discs with the stock calipers, this is better, your next option is Skyline GTR (33/34) calipers and discs which are good but some say still not sufficient. Then you get into the likes of StopTech, Hi-Spec, AP Racing, Rotora, which are all both awesome and very expensive.

    iff i remember rightly"blackmagic" done a good write up on his braking mods a while back and intresting it was too,just do a search bud :) by the way whats happend to steve aka "blackmagic" not seen him around much
