Well chaps, Looks like my cambelt may have snapped!!!!!
Just wonderering if any of you technical chaps on here rate my chances of fitting a new belt and getting away with it?
I was doing about 5 mph when it cut out and there was no grinding/banging/clonking at all but i dont know what sort of valve clearances the zx has?, I know on some cars you can fit a new belt and retime and off you go. :confused:
Anyway do you think its worth trying this or just having the car looked at and engine stripped? I want to try the belt first as i see it as ive nothing to lose..
