Ok.
Last night I was heading home from town, and everything was running ok. I ended up catching up an M3 and we started having a little play. I was in 4th doing about 100/110 mph and getting closers, revs were around 6k. I was just about to overtake him and change into 5th as I passed but due to traffic comming the other way I couldnt, but because I was close to him I couldn't just change gear so I just let off the accelerator pedel which caused the car to jolt. Carried on after this and no problem.
After this happened I started driving normally in order for the car to cool down, before it got parked away, but everytime I slowed down in gear it became very difficult to control the clutch, but was still fine when accelerating.
Parked up outside my garage to open it, and noticed that the revs kept dropping almost to a stall, then back up again (I know this as hunting) I also noticed that my standard boost guage that sits at -12 most of the time was sat around -4. I parked the car in the garage and left it as it was dark, and have been thinking about the problem since.
I have a few ideas, but want to hear from you guys.
Firstly I think it may have blown a boost pipe?
Or
Idle control valve is shot?
Or
Loose plug somewhere?
Any other ideas? Any guys with datascan about today?
Thanks in advance for your help.
