Morning everyone.

As a lot of you know I was being well and truly fooked over by this dick on ebay.

Anyway, after some great help by certain members in the club I managed to email the dick using his actual name and mentioning his address and that I would be coming up to see him very soon (you know what I mean).

The goods arrived this morning by express courier.

If it wasn't for the help I received I would never have got my goods. This bloke was out to rip me off big time.

A massive thank you to you all especially (you know who you are)

Chris

Well done mate glad it turned out okay in the end, though after some worry on your part am sure. :) If you havn't given out this persons username from Ebay, am sure it would be a good idea to so as to avoid the same for others.

We could actaully have an "Bad ebay" section where you list names of those who have been really bad/hard to deal with ??

cheers

i would of course Paul but the slippery git is no longer registered with ebay. He will just re-regester under another user name so he can fook over other people.

I do think a section on the forum outlining bad ebayers is a damn good idea. I think what has happened to me and I am sure lots of others shows this.

Glad to see you got your stuff m8, i just wonder how helpful ebay was they were not to good at dealing with my case and all the leg work i had to do but by god they take your money quick..

The ebay system is a joke TBH. If you paid via credit card you have to contact your company first to ask them to pay you back the money. Then and only then you have to have a letter from them to say that no, they wont help and you can then contact ebay and make a dispute between you and the seller. Thing is you don't get hardly bugger all back depending on the value of the goods.

Yes, you get something but hardly worth celebrating about. If you paid via PayPal this helps but any other payment method and you have to use the standard ebay dispute rubbish.

I pleased to hear that you got your stuff, but I don't think that having our own list of bad ebayers will help much. They have their own rating system and if people disappear and then come back with a new name then we won't know until it's too late anyway. Unless you've thought of a better way of doing this than I have ....

Should have pooled the resources and got a load of forum members to help me drop that engine off on gixxar's driveway.

Glad you got it sorted!

Nice to hear it sorted itself out bud.

Funny how people can change when they realise they are no longer hiding behind the mystery of the internet eh :duffer: ;)

If you subscribed my friend .. the people would be able to contact you directly through the PM system, if they wanted to. I would recommend subscribing.

The original thread was deleted by a moderator after I asked them.
