Looks about 30 - 40mm. It'll do. :)

I origianlly thought mine was lowered, but I don't think it is. The wheels sit far too height in the front arch. Needs dropping and ALSO a camber correction so that the wheels site right out in the very corners of the arches,

Nothing worse than having a set of wheels with a weedy looking offset. Especially on a Zed....I need to get mine sorted!!

none of these look any lower than mine, and that is deffo on stock springs.

Check out the front of mine. It looks awful....it's too heigh and the camber on it is dreadful. With a subtle drop and some camber correction, it should make the car more beefy looking.

...but then you look at it from this angle and it looks plenty low enough. It's nothing to do with the surface, because I've had it on perfectly level ground and from some angles it looks terrible.

Yea since I saw the SMZ I've been after some! Took me ages to find them but it was worth it, shame the cameraphone let her down.

The front normally looks more like Graham's, 18"s and Eibachs seem to leave a nice even gap all the way round the arch

here you go si

Scotty, that's about -60mm...maybe even -90mm....waayyy too low for me. You need some camber correction arms on the front of yours desperately. You might find it nicer to drive! :)

So do people think my car is lowered? I've had a butchers at the springs when I've been working on the car and there's no markings on it. Just plain black springs. I know Eibachs are black, but these have markings on them. The ride is stiff, but it does lean quite a bit, but that's probably down to tired shockers.

sorry to butt in but im having bother with my suspension - with the eibach springs some of you guys are using, are you using standard shocks with them? mine are banging not sure if the shock is fully compressed or whats going on!

How old are the shocks? Some use standard replacements. I've heard KYB replacements are the best to go for.

they are brand new only done a couple thousand miles! standard nissan shocks with brand new eibach lowering springs. Not sure if they have been fitted incorrectly! Making horrible banging noise over bumps. The shock shaft itself when looked at from the top of shock tower in engine bay moves up and down when bounced which its not supposed to do - god knows whats up

Sounds like the big nut on the strut top might not be tight enough. Get an airgun on it and double check

its going in next week to get checked out where it was fitted - hopefully will be something simple. Cheers for help :)

This is how I want mine to sit...

That is lowered a lot more than 30mm, certainly on the back. Probably coilovers.

Mine is lowered with Eibachs. You can just squeeze 1 finger in the front, and about 2-3 fingers in the rear.

My Silver NA is lowered with unknown springs by about (at a guess) 40 to 50mm, but I dont have any decent pics of it with the 19's its currently wearing.

No, it's not on coilovers. Springs are made by 'Sprint' and they are a drop of about 1.8" Not too sure what that is in relation to MM.

Maybe I want to go lower than 30mm then? Unfortunately then though, I run the risk of running out of adjustment on the rear camber settings.

Hi Si!

Your car may display the same symptoms as mine did a year or so ago ... namely tired and sagging OEM springs. I too thought my car was lowered because when it was parked next to a Z with lowering springs mine was actually lower! When I replaced the springs it turned out that after 16 years of use the springs were compressed when compared to new OEM springs.

Not sure if this is the case with yours but it's worth bearing in mind.

Cheers mate!

Yeah I have heard of this. But not totally sure it's the case with mine. It doesn't look lowered, yet the camber hints that it could be. All the bushes at the front seem fine. Maybe they have sagged enough to make the camber look a little off, but not enough to look lowered.

Mines lowered But I don't know much or what with :headvswal

But it does seem very low at the side of some

I don't think I've helped much sorry
