as above. i have tried pumping air in but i can hear the leak but cant find it. is there another way of finding it

Apply soapy water around the pipe joints and look for bubbles ;)

What area in the bay is the leaking noise coming from?

i did have one on the EGR tube i tightened it up and i can still hear a leak close to it

let the motor idle and spray some carb cleaner or (safer) wd40 on each joint,when the rpm rise "bingo" thats the leak :)
