Q: Hello, noticed the auction. Couple of questions, if its all indeed original, where are the original toyota triangle original alloy wheels and if you have already been offered five figures, why dont you accept their offer. Ebay is full of scammers and non paying bidders. What is the reserve ? Anyway, good luck with the sale. Nice to see another original.

A: The owner has the original wheels which are included in the package. It's just at the time of purchase he preferred spoke effect alloys. So both come included. I have entered the vehicle on ebay on behalf of the owner who is a senior citizen and without either computer or mobile phone. The mileage is genuine as is the vehicle. (As is the owner.) You seem to doubt whether 5 fig. plus has been offerred. I don't think there is anything anyone can say to remove your doubt. it has been offerred. Period. You say that ebay is full of scammers and non paying bidders. I really have no idea. First time on. The point about this vehicle is that I cannot imagine one of such age and condition and such low mileage. Why the person bought in the first place I really don't know. It is unique. The reserve? Well, it's in excess of the start price! The old boy deserves the best price he can get for this car. Thankyou for your question. Will you be bidding?

Yep, agree you'd be mad to pay that, especially when you consider what you *can* get for a bit less than that (like Chris@GetGreddy's zed). Yeah I know, I'm probably missing the point, but hey.

A bit steep - I bet parts have perished even though the mileage is low.

 

Have to say it's nice though. But not £10K nice.

LOL - I used to have a white one of them. Looks in great condition and unbelievable mileage for its age! :eek:

 

However, I don't think that fleabay is the best place to sell it. Owners club might be a better bet?
