Ive got a G plate 535i SE. Great car, plenty of power (Would like more but I always do no matter what im driving).

I get about 25 - 28 MPG But I have a heavy right foot :x:

I wouldnt go for less than the 530 I think it would be slightly under powered for the size of the car otherwise mate.

If you want to know anything in perticular give me a shout.

its a straight six mate. A tenna does about 65 miles.

It makes me laugh when people talk about buying a big engined car then ask how many miles they can get from 2 gallons of fuel :headvswal :headvswal surely you should look at a Fiesta if thats the main priority :x:

How about a 730 diesel?

Big and pimping plus good (ish) MPG.

£1600 would probably only get you a shitter though.

well i've just bought a mercedes c class 1.8 and i'm getting around 35mpg not bad for a auto i thought got it cheap too

but you could always buy my 3 series 325 diesel sport looking at around 2 grand and 45-50 mpg

Indian, I'd consider this 325d.

It's a nice car and probably well looked after.

lets just say i've not skimped on the maintenance of this car as i used it daily anything that needed doing was done with genuine parts also just serviced it long mot and a bit of tax but also being the sport model it's around 140 bhp bargain

Whatever you get Bhav. Dont overtake any cars whilst they are turnng right.....

go for a 535i sport it has m-tec trim a few bits on the body to make it look sporty and a sports gearbox a very good car dont touch a 3.0l i see no point here a sport http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1991-BMW-535I-SPORT-MANUAL-SILVER-NO-RESERVE_W0QQitemZ300004320892QQihZ020QQcategoryZ9837QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

This is what I had before the zed. Had her for about 4 years and did 50k in it.

Solid, reliable, quick handled well for its size and turned heads in black.

However I get better fuel economy from the zed !

I'm thinking about getting an old 320i estate. It'll be a daily driver and surfboard carrier in the week and a learn to drift bitch at the weekend! The whore!
