My car went in for a mot on friday, no huge snags but got a few things to work on;

main one being one of the rear antiroll bars is worn (the rubber has perissed completly). Just wondering if anyone knows of an aftermarket upgrade to the nissan ones, and what benifit i would get from fitting an upgrade?

Cheers all

Looks interesting, easy job to fit? The installation instructions talk about removing the exhaust? That really necessary? Also, when it talks about aligning the kit, guess it doesnt mean have the wheels tracked, more just getting at checking everything is in the right place before tightening up?

How soft/hard is the ride in the adjusted positions, and likewise for the under/over steer? Looks simple enough to adjust once its on the car?

I just fitted whiteline front and rear uprated anti-roll bars. They come complete with poly bushes and lube. They are a cinch to fit just undo the drop links and then 4 x 17mm bolts. Bout an hour job.

As the man says great handling upgrade. :)

cool, where did you get the whiteline roll bars from? Ive had a look around tinternet and found them at around £83 for the rears (id do the front at a later stage if i go that way).

What made you pick the whiteline ones and not the stillen kit?

I just like being willfully different really as most other people run eibach or stillen........so i picked something different.

You do need to do both though bud as I fitted the rear and drove the car without fitting the front too. Car felt weird. Its hard to describe how but if you realise the stock bars are puny and hollow and the whiteline are heavy and stiff. So i had a stiff rear end and wallowy front for a week :x:

does this greatly improve body roll or is it just marginal

Checked the gb, but its closed now. Also i couldnt wait that long as i need to get this done as an mot fix. Think il end up with the stillen kit and then ive got the bonus of front and rear adjustment.

Unless anyone has some of the whiteline ones lying round they want to sell me?

Well the Z doesn't have much body roll to start with but the car feels much more sure footed and yes if not No body-roll.

The difference in strength is SO much when you see how puny the stock bars are you'll understand why it is such an effective mod. Think UK ones are better from the factory.
