only had car on road for two weeks and it is pouring out oil from the front,

have had car checked by mechanic and this is what he says....he seems to think the engine has a damaged turbo seal on the drivers side beause when he checked for the oil leak he says he found that the oil is leaking down through the drivers side ducting coming from the intercooler??? is this possible and have you guys got any other ideas where the oil is comin from and what kind of costs are involved.

the car has been decatted, the car still seems to be still pulling like a train

all help and replies eagerly awaited

if it's pouring out, it's more likely to be a leaking oil line to the oilcooler up front.

Or the oilcooler itself has been damaged (by a rock or something)

If it's a turbo seal, the driversside lower thick rubber hose (in the enginebay) should be covered with a thick layer of oil.

i think you are correct in thinking its the turbo seal as the front oil cooler has been checked and a pipe was replaced.... what are the approx costs involved to fix said turbo seal?

any other ideas or pointers people (especially the garage owners on here  )

If it was the turbo seal it would leak into the exhaust or inlet system causing loads a smoke. If it's dropping on the ground it's an oil feed pipe to turbo or oil cooler. Don't run the car it will B***er somthing up

Doesn't sound like turbo seal, there would be loads of smoke out the exhaust (and engine out pricey job). Sounds more like an oil feed/return pipe as lymon says, maybe the one to the oil cooler?
