Hijacked another thread with this earlier but thought I'd put it seperately. Does anyone know what sort of price a car trailor would go for. Obviously it would have to take a low slung performance car (zed/rx7). Also any advice on what type I should look for, and is it possible to tow with a decent car or would I need a 4*4? Thanks Dave

dont know about prices, but my mates races alfas, and trailers his to tracks. He uses an alfa 156/7 (never remember which!) to tow it - 2.5ltr v6, so most cars with a bit of power should be able to do it.

hth

That Ebay one is not big/strong enough.

Its only 12ft bed

14ft min needed.

Your Rex might be OK but a 1500kg ZX???? No way.

the one I borrow is a 14 ft job.

My Peugot 406Est pulls it , only just with 300ZX on. But it may not actually be legal!!LOL

Check out the wiight rules n regs before you buy.

Buying a tailer is like buying a Zed . You need to get the best you possibly can afford.

Old tired trailers are about and they are just like old tired Zeds... A pain in the butt.

The consequences of loosing a wheel on the Mway due to bearing failure etc are severe. Wrecked trailer.....wrecked racer.... wrecked tow car...

Well you get the drift.

I have been moving cars on trailers for the last 30 years so I know wot Im on about.

Bateson. Brian James Ifor Williams are all good names to look for.

AVOID home build types.

Ok mate, nice one. I've not got any cash at the moment so I guess it depends on if the zed sells. Any chance you could send some phots and a description to david at naturalhorsemanagement dot com ? Thanks.
