It was the annoyance of the Scots to the [incorrect] use of the Union Flag by English football fans that caused the English to remember that they had another flag. One of their own.

Ah, don't remember this but it is a fair point. The Union Flag is a flag that symbolises union but it is never that way when we have English newspapers that stir up bigotry, i.e. The Sun...

 

We need to remember that what we read in the newspapers, is not always what is actually true and the media from both countries will distort the truth vastly.....

I was hoping we'd go through to the final, that way the roads would be clear and I could go out in my Zed while everyone else watches the games!

I will be glad to see the back of those awful car flags though - they always fly from fekking people carriers driven by @rseholes who can't actually drive properly.

I have to say though i wish there was a major England game on every Saturday, I drove up to the town did my shopping and was thrashing it back through the lanes in the Z and hardly any traffic.

It made it a pleasure to drive for a change :dance:
