My big brake kit should be here by the weekend from smithy ( ) and while the car was jacked, wheels and discs off ive been thinking of things i could get done making the most of the access...

So far ive come up with :

AIV removal (not really got any reason to do it, but while ive got access...)

Washer jet motor/connectors clean (using the guide in the faq)

Fit the big brake kit (obviously).

Just wondering if there was anything else i could do while ive got access/car jacked?

Ive got some goodridge braided hoses waiting to go on (had them best part of 2months!) but theres an on going fitment issue with goodridge preventing me getting them on at the moment! Got some new brake fluid from oilman waiting to go in as well when i do the hoses

Im thinking about going medieval and changing the connector on my zed just to get these pipes in. Its not what id like to do as you would think a large company like goodridge could sort a simple problem like this!

I had the same problem when I bought some goodridge hoses off Ebay. Spoke to Goodridge technical & they said my connectors were probably imperial not metric :headvswal . I sent them back to the vendor who has just sent me metric thread connectors, not fitted them yet but am told they should be spot on HTH :)
