If I renew my subscription and then sell my Zed can I still come on here and tell everyone how fast my new Rx7 goes without p*ssing everyone off? :wack:

The rotor tips will need refreshing on this engine a long time before 60k due to the high state of tune, probably after a year or two depending on the milage. I just look at it like paying for new tyres or whatever. If I want 100k car acceleration then I've got to put some extra cash in somewhere. Its still a lot cheaper than buying a budget porshe or high power skyline so not bad overall.

 

By the way, why have you choosen to get a Supra? Seems an odd choice after a Zed, in that the zed handles better and all. I guess if you want something that is a little easier to tune to big power and a bit faster as standard. I often think one of the big plusses of owning a zed is that if you choose wisely you can have everything a supra has but for half the price and with better looks? Not that I've got anything against them, still an animal of a car.

 

Well the one ive been offered is completely standard apart from BBS aloys and stil restricted to 112mph :(

So a blank canvas to start on and a bit newer than the Z!

only thing is then ive got to get rid of all my Nissan t-shirts etc lol...

well could put them into storage for the future.

however, your 1/4 times and speeds were very good considering! your RX looks infinitely better than the white zed on ebay. how much did it set you back out of interest?

The reaction times were on purpose (really!). I didn't want to race experienced people so when the lights went green I let them go and relaxed so I could concentrate on getting my revs up and launching. Next time I'll probably try going on the light, but avoided it this time as I've never done it before and had plenty to think about already!

TBH i will probably remove the restrictor-put a Superdragger on it with Decat-Induction thats it-I need reliability

 

Then front bumper and skirts

 

Then bling the engine bay
