Wouldn't it? Summer days, scraped knees, mother's calling, James, goalies' in a mess, ball over the wall....

 

 

He died or something?

Just thought i'd let you all know about my hat-trick at the weekend;

 

First goal:

 

Put through by midfield player (Geeky as he's known) out paced central defenders ran 20'ish yards, drew the keeper and slotted it past him....

 

Second goal:

 

Controlled a flick on from my partner in crime (Jamie) on my chest, turned and blasted a volley past the very stranded keeper from about 25 yards into far top corner of the goal, one of my best goals this season.

 

Third goal:

 

Played a quick one-two with Jamie, poor return left me with a 50-50 challenge on the goalkeeper, lunged in, keeper spilled it, I got to he dropping ball first and volleyed into the empty net.

 

At this point I ran off and dived onto the substitutes and bags....

 

I set up 2 other goals during the game, one for Jamie and one for John Lomas, We ran out 8-0 winners.

 

Found out the result of the other team that could catch us in the championship race and Heartlands lost 2-0 so that's them out of it as long as we win our 2 remaining games.
