I know its probably been done before but anyone got any advice for me and the anyone else who has never run a 1/4 mile at the pod? i.e some launching tips, really want a go but dont want to look a complete coont!

Hi Jack,i've taken all 7 of my Zeds up the 1/4 mile and it's really hard to say whats best to do as in my opinion every car has different launches,different tyres,power etc etc etc

 

the only thing i can say is wheelspin is your enemy,although it will feel slower launching with no wheelspin in my opinion is the quickest way.

These are some good links from the rotary forum. There's a lot of them on there who do it reguarly and seem to know what the deal is.

Go on the Santa Pod site (if that's where your going) and read their explanation of how the lights work - otherwise they can be a bit baffling.
