Got 3 driving a white transit on the motorway ('you were driving very safetly sir but I'm going to do you anyway' (?))

3 in my old escort diesel also on motorway, pulled in to let a car past that was up my arse. He then pulled straight in front of me so I put my foot down to get past what I thought was an idiot driving dangerously. Probably should have contested that one.

3 in my zed on a dual carriageway. Overtook a couple of arctics so was over the limit for about 2 seconds and then continued to drive like a granny.

 

Never got done once when I used to drive on my 'private test track', only recently when I've supposedly learnt my lesson and drive a lot slower but have a burst when the roads are clear. Strange isn't it

so far so good for me....

Clean as a whistle although i did 12 month ban a few year ago !

stupid traffic lights - nipped through as they were changing to red (the photo shows more than half my car over the line).

Just got another 3 from one of those Traffic Safety Camera Vans. On the A1, dual carriage way, cones along the side of the road for roadworks (that weren't there), 40mph limit, I got done at 54mph. Fukkers! I was tempted to go back and take all his photos of him - well, they're not coppers in those vans, just old do-gooders.

Clean for a good few years now (hasn’t always been this way), but having said that I got the Z on the 1st of April and the V5 still hasn’t arrived, I re-taxed at the end of May and the post office guy said that he put a note on the system to remind them about getting the V5 updated. Just hoping that there aren’t a load of speeding tickets waiting to hit me and I’ve been doing a lot of testing! Not sure how that 2 week notification rule would come into play, no doubt they would say that DVLA delays aren’t their problem.

I got 3, driving my late Mum to hospital at 10pm in October 2004 (saving on an emergency ambulance) doing 44 in a 30 zone, no school, no houses, just a straight road. Tried to appeal, given the circumstances, even the hospital wrote a letter. But all I got back, was that "we have to consider other road users", trouble was there weren't any that night.

I did have 3 for doing 90 in a 70 on an empty dual carriageway on a Sunday night... not that I'm bitter or anything. Disappeared a year or two ago now though.

 

Thought I was on for some more a couple of Sundays back though. Overtook what turned out to be an unmarked police car coming off a roundabout onto a very short section of dual carriageway just before it merged back to single carriageway. Fortunately never went above 70 because coming off the roundabout there's a very sharp bend. Still very relieved he didn't decide to pull me over though.

Don't have any :hyper: :hyper: never had, don't want any but its only down to time before I get caught flooring either the Zed or the REX. :(

 

 

Have been pulled over a couple of times though, lucky I guess for the moment

got 6 when i was 18, and i wasnt even driving!!!!!
