:hyper: Yo Z riders need some help on deciding whether neons would be cool under the Z, some say it will look naff but i kinda like them.....need ur opinion guys!!! :nana2:

was toying with the idea myself, just think what cars you see them on?? bet mainlybarry chav hairdryers such as saxos corsas and chaveliers. So id say uncool, but only coz the barry chavs have gone and done it again

IMO they look good if done properly.

I would have too say they are majorly uncool, I can think of only one car that I have ever seen where they are ok (The Beast) and thats only cos it is part of a theme. You have to be very carefull about neons imho.

an embarrasment and insult to the car in my opinion..

but unfortunatly with the price range the z is now in we will see a lot more owners who will fit this sort of thing.

on a nicely kitted car they make a nice finishing touch if done right. wouldnt do it on a standard car though. and i think colour choice is important.

and if you do it dont have the tubes visable.

i think they look good on the right car.

saxos novas etc. they look shite, on a nice modded jap beast they look pretty cool!

I am gonna have to say I like them, and as part of a body mod weather its full blown out kit or just dropped on nice rims then if done right they do look good.

 

Ignore the barry chavs because they have no style as a rule and think that if you buy it from ripspeed then its cool, or if its free with one of the mags then you must fit it.

I fitted some to steves (blackmagic) and to be honest, they looked really cool, use two kits just for the side so the light goes anlong the full length

i think they look good on the right car in the right place. but theyre always associated with chavved-up motors so as said above you need to be real careful not to overstep the line. i saw a lovely silver GTR33 with bodykit and blue neons the other day - that was done right.

i dont think they'd suit a Z with standard bodykit cos they look to suave for neons ;) but with something a bit more aggressive on they should look ok.

On a show car they look the part but on ANY car driving along a public highway I think it looks fookinng awful.

your car is an extension of your personality. if you like ti stick it on there, as long as your happy with what you have.

i think there pretty cool, but if your going to, make sure you get a decent set. id recommend eurolite toucans, there the ones used in the fast and the furious, my mates got a set and they are very very bright, about £170

They have a bad/chav image.....can't be cool if its fitted to every corsa, savo, nova out there

I think they are the most ridiculous thing on a car since tits on fish! Show a car to be all show and no go. IMO!
