Hi all,

This is my first time on here. I have a VERY bad vibration from the front when braking at HIGH speeds, it doesn't do it at low speeds, it is very worrying, it feels like something is very warped (probably me)!!! it is impossible to continue braking when it does it. You have to come off the brakes completely and just kind of dab them quite hard on and off till it gets to a speed where it stops. It is that bad that it feels like the front of the car is wobbling from side to side and jumping up and down!

I would think that it was warped discs except that it doesn't do it all the time, the brakes work very well apart from this. I will have to sort this out quickly, because I would never be able to stop from high speed quickly.

Most likely warped disc's mate.Check tour tie rod bushes and steering rack and bushes.

It might be a combination of things but look at bushes first.

When i break hard from 100mph the front of my zed judders, dont know exactly why. Could be suspension bush's maybe.

Same problem here but only from 100+ :(

Problem improved when I changed the rear pads (very low) and I'll be getting my front pads changed soon. Disks have been inspected and given the all clear...

It will be the tension rod bushes mate!-just done mine and transformed it!

Still got a very slight 'wobble' but that IS the discs, they've been worked a bit lately and are fubar! ;)

worrying wobble when braking can be calipers too...they can be overhauled with a kit

Sounds like a warping mate

mine have never been the same since i hit the lot at over 130mph on track of course lol)

bottom ball joints are good for causeing this had it on a couple of nissans in the past both times it was a botom ball joint.
