Exactly tony, when i worked out all the costs of machining, parts, and the time and effort of my and my dad doing it as well as the cost of finding a perfect engine to start with, it just was not worth it :)

Roll on 6 weeks

So what is up with your current engine? doesnt that push out 479 rwbhp? and what will you be doing with it? I am looking for a project engine to build so I can keep mine on the road while I build it.

I fitted a oil catch tank which pressurised the bottom end as it was not working and when the boost spiked to 1.8 bar i think it did ring number 4 in as its leaking so i cant make anymore power!! so i decided if i'm going to complete the project and make good numbers then i wanted a certain spec to handle 8000 revs etc so i have specified my own spec ;)

I am refreshing my engine but sorry its been sold already along with my clutch ;)
