Recently put a new engine in my Zed and now think the Rear Relay unit is faulty.(the light warrning on the dashboard

Anyone know why putting a new engine in would cos this to have problems?

Problem started the first time I turned the car on.??

Check the 10 amp ( red ) fuse marked "engine cont" this is located on the inner wing under the bonnet in the large black relay and fuse box.

 

Possible a cable shorted out for this circuit at some stage.

Dear Daveman. The engine cont fuse is blown and when I put another in the other day it blew as soon as I turned the car on.

 

Do you think that this is the problem??

How do I go about fixing it.

hi all,

earlobis, maybe checking the plugs next to the fuse box is worth a mention this caused my fuse to pop,also think there is an earth under the box u may wanna check.
