Was just driving down to the south coast for a surf in the missus VW golf, prob cruising just under 50mph. Went through a couple of villages where the limit went to 40mph and a traffic cop was on a junction. I slowed down to make sure I didn't get caught speeding and he saw it and followed me. Stayed up my arse for 10 bloody miles until he decided to put the blue lights on. Tried to make me admit I was speeding which obviously I didn't, then gave me a producer. Took great pride telling me how lucky I was that he didn't clock my speed and that he would have made sure I lost my licence (9 pts already, yes I know). I feel so much better knowing these people are policing our roads. Going to get rid of the insurance and licence though as its cheaper to pay the fine the courts would have handed out if I'd been done for driving with no insurance or licence, in a stolen car with the owners body in the boot, obviously.

You should put in a complaint against him for "Intimidatory and Dangerous Driving" if he was tailgating you :xxx: His name and number will be at the top of the producer.

Report 'em.

Police are only allowed to tail you for 3 miles and if they dont pull you in that distance yet pull you later when you've done nothing wrong you can report em for attempted entrapment and harrasment.

Go on do 'em do em do 'em

Make that complaint mate.

do him royal,,,and they will get you,,,,decissions

have to agree, why cause waves? shrug it off m8

be different if you were getting done for something

problem is they are A BIG family

yes he was a twat, and muppets like him shave their arses and walk on their hands, a complaint is gonna get what response??

"yes sir you committed what offence?

your being prosecuted for?"

a pain in the arse having to produce, but just my opinion you've done nothing, nothing is gonna come from it, so why make yourself noticed

and with 9 points you can't afford any spiteful shits maybe looking for you m8;)

save the complaint for a good 'un :nelson:

Cops like this dont do themselves any favs. If they cant show you video evidence of you speeding, and the fact he followed you for 10 miles, I would put in an official complaint for wasting tax payers money.

3 miles? Absolute tosh!

50% of them are still tossers im afraid

do what i do mate,if they follow you pull over imeadiatly dont let them pull you, trying to make you feel uneasy :headvswal

arseholes, funny how they can spend 20mins following someone in a car causing no harm to anybody!yet an old lady is probably being mugged or beaten to death 2mins away:rant:

Don't think that it'll do me any help making a complaint, other than to make me noticed! I need to blend into the background driving with 9pts! Its obvious I've got a history of speeding (learnt my lesson the hard way, apart from the odd meet :) I drive a lot slower now as I can't afford to lose my licence ). I used to have a lot of respect for police as I knew what it was like working in uniform, but after the experiences I've had since leaving the forces I just think the majority act like t*ssers and don't do the good ones any favours.
