got my datascan now but cant get it to connect to car.

 

i have installed drives for the usb cable and checked port number and changed in datascan software but when i click connect nothing happens .

i installed the drives again even the datascan software and still the same.

i had a consult on my car a few monts back so i know the plug is ok.

 

any ideas as its peeing me off now

i have just connected my home pc to car which i installed datascan to in 1st place and still the same.

im now thinking if the drivers have been installed ok ??

when i download off the site it does it for you but if you open file there a win file that you can also install more files which go to program files folder i have done this and still no luck.

it does say its working ok

 

is this correct??

Have you checked the support section on http://home.curl.aunz.net/tpkolo/DataScan.htm ?

 

Have you definatly selected the correct port ? Do you have any other USB>Serial adaptors or external USB devices connected (Some GPS receivers cause problems)

 

 

have looked at the website spent 2 days on it so far even taking to someone at blazt and they dont know why.

havent got any other usb device on laptop.tested my plug on car and theres power there.

yes got corrected port like i said tried two pcs and the same thing happens.

can some one tell me what they drives say please just to see it matches mine.dont know what else to try..HELP
