Just about to buy some new seats for my Z as mine are on the way out, i remember from past threads that there are no sub-frames for the Z and that the universal ones don't work! i think i read that some people have modified there standard frames... has anyone got any pics etc? and do you get to keep some of the electrics? or if anyone has managed to get universal ones to work could you please let me know?

The modified frame will be differnent depending on which seat you fit. Your best bet is to place the seat on existing frame and see where you need to modifiy to get it to fit.

 

You should be able to keep the electric front and back motion.

If so, their head office/warehouse is about 15 min walk from me. Theyr just gettng over losing alot of stock in a fire last year, so no r'n'd at the mo, but was gonna take my standard seats in in a couple of weeks and see what they can do.

hi mate, yes they are corbeaus, its off someone that doesn't want them anymore so im geting them for a good price! do you know if they do sub frames for our car?

No - hence me taking my seats up there, they wernt very interested in making them, but im sure if there was enough interest they could do it.

Im in no rush mate as i haven't got them yet and i go away for 5 weeks on the 22nd, if you find anythink out let me know..... i may try using the original subframes..
