I don't know what prices you all pay for insurance but my Jap import only cost me £950 through A-Plan's Specialist Vehicle Division at Thatcham. Policy is with Axa. Tel: 0845 0711234

Everyone else quoted me around £2500 and most wouldn't touch the import anyway!

Maybe you guys know of someone cheaper but it seems like a massive diference to me.

 

 

I have 5 years no claims, one accident to report in 98 and Admiral charge me £750 with £350 excess on their accelerator scheme - 10 months and get 12 months no claims.

Much cheaper than anyone else I tried.

 

I don't know how old you lot are but I am 21 with 3 year no claim's and was getting quotes for my twin turbo ranging from 2,700 to 12,000. However for a laugh I tried direct line, (their the one's you see on TV and your Mun and Dad are insured with).

Well I am insured with them and it cost me £1,323 fully comp.

 

I guess your car isn't an import then..as most regular insurance companies wont touch them.

I am with 'A plan' as well,and my NA import only costs £495!

 

I managed to get CLASSIC CAR INSURANCE from a Broker called FIREBOND using GROUPAMA. £350 fully comp with 6000 miles limit.

 

I got their details off the web.

 

Myself and spouse (both 40) fully comp protected NCD £490 with privilage

1990 Imported TT

 

Maybe I should add that I'm 29 with 4 years no claims, 10 points and a 30 day ban recently. All for speeding...

Thats the best insurance quote ive ever heard. If they give me a simmilar quote I will be so greatfull I will come and wash your car every week for a year.(Maybee).

I forgot to tell you all that I had to lie about the engine size. 1275GT.... Only joking..Because I have two cars I let the wife do the school runs for a while in the Z hopefully keeping lots of miles free for the summer.
