If all goes to plan then we should hit the M4 at about 08:20 Chris. I don't want to bog people down with times when they are coming from different sides of London as it will always end up with one group hanging around waiting :(

 

How long will it take you to get to the M4 Chris? Maybe we could talk on the day and I can give you a better idea of timing :cool:

Its about a 2hr trip to Castle Combe along the M4 and then about at least about a 1hr wait to get in once you get there if last year was anything to go by

my advise would be to try and either leave earlier or try and travel up the night before even if you only go and stay in say Swindon or see if there is space at the pre event 300zx bbq

Revised times:

 

Right, we ideally need to get there for between 9:30 and 10:00 to get a good spot on the club stand, see the first Zed track session, and allow for any holdups (eg: queues)

 

I suggest that we have the first meeting point at Clacket Lane services (South Bound) leaving there at 07:00.

 

I will meet up with the Croydon and (if good for them) London members at the Shell petrol station on Godstone Hill (RH9 8AH - just off M25 Junction 6). If the Clacket Lane group could call my mobile (07977 431401) or meet us here, we'll aim to leave at 07:15.

 

If anyone else is joining the conoy further round the M25, please use my mobile number and I can update you on progress and we can hopefully meet up on route!

 

Please remember, this will be a good natured convoy at sensible (Zed) speeds!

 

Please let me know who's going to meet where or if you've got any different suggestions about the above...

You are going to need a vehicle pass to get onto the club stand (I have run out) you could take the gamble and come down with the convoy then try and get in (someone might be able to pass a used pass to you!!) or give me a call when you get to the gate on the off chance someone has returned a vehicle pass to me by then
