A Sunny?-never heard that one!-Primera IIRC with mods!

Better still contact a trader on here for a s/hand one that's right! ;)

These were on ebay a while back, worth a look!

The matrix itself is not expensive - it's just the labour to fit the thing that is.

You have to remove sooooo many things to get to it.

As for the K-weld in the coolant, drain the system flush and refill immediately. This stuff can ruin a ZX engine - efficient cooling is vital in an engine that generates so much heat. Any additive can block water-ways impeding flow of coolant causing overheating, thus damaging the engine.

A quick-fix is to by-pass the matrix with hose, the heating won't work then but as it's summer shortly that is not an issue at present.

Richard

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

dont scrimp on 2nd hand matrix FFS the labour involved is not worth the risk,if you have an auto then 3hours labour from start to finish is adequate,if you have a manual then removal of the clutch pedal/booster is needed!

Kev, I have a matrix going for free mate if your interested, just the postage costs which I would think would be about a £5......

Got one of them from Flea Bay

Haven't fitted it yet still on bypass (oh and the car is in the Body shop)
