:rant: Managed to get the afternoon off so I could go and get some tyres swapped over on my Zed...I have a nice set of shiney reconditioned split rims....to replace another set of shiney split rims.

 

Got home and the slim line bolts I'd ordered hadn't arrived. Thought ok. The splim line bolts I have on the current wheels will fit.

 

Managed to get there. Swapped over one tyre...took the guy about 30 mins as the rears are 9.5" wide and a PITA to remove/refit....only to discover that the wheel bolts wouldn't fit.

 

So off came the rim and tyre and the old one was put back on. My friend who owns this tyre fitting business didn't charge, but he's shut for the next week and I've sold my old rims!!!!!! Grrrrrr.

 

To make matters worse, the company that I'd ordered these bolts off wouldn't accept my credit card for some reason. So I am now left with a car full of wheels and nowhere to put them.

 

To make matters still worse. I'd left one of my phones in the tyre place. With it being on silent, there was no point in ringing it. Raced back down there.....bloody place was shut. Because I'm off up to Newport in an hour, I'd never have got the phone back. Luckily, the guy had left his own phone there and just as I'd given up, he'd driven back.

 

Kinda a relief, but between now and Saturday I have to find a set of slim line wheel bolts and also to get the rims swapped over....AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHH I'm never gonna do it unless Protyre can fit me in on Saturday.
