Hi,

Back again.

Can anybody tell me why both the engine oil dipstick and the autobox dipsticks would be pushed out of there respective pipes by about half an inch each?

I have seen this posted up on the forum before but cant remember what the cause was.

Any help appreciated.

Don't know about the autobox but the engine dipstick being pushed out can be caused by excessive pressure in the system. A worn engine can cause it, also failed PCV valves.

Do you think that it could be caused by the engine being over filled with oil?

that as well yes

Usually, if your PCV values are clagged up - stopping them from sealing properly, you'll pop the dip stick under boost.

Hope this helps.

Right looks like new PCV's then.
