just out of curiosity i was wondering how many of these 667 members actually own zeds.

i appreciate that some on here are enthusiasts, ex zed owners and such like and fair play to you for still comming on here and showing an interest. i also realise that some have just registered once to sell their cars, so is it worth having a poll ie a topic of .. whos got a zed?.. and people posting a reply if they have.

it would probably result in the highest number of posts on a thread (except maybe the cannonball slagging match lol) but it would be interesting to see how many do have one. Also would a group of a big enough size be able to be officially called a club,(im thinking like the ford rs owners club) and therefore use its position to maybe approach nissan to ask for a discount on bits?

I do not currently own a Zed, I have posted several questions and got good answers, I have put a deposit on one and will hopefully take stock of it this week, I have found this site very useful and informative, and I hope I can be of use to other Zed owners or prospective owners once I get to grips with the car, I will continue to use it once I have my car, and once I get it I’m posting pictures up rapid and hope to attend some meets. Keep up the good work all.

Scoops mate, i remember having this conversation with you at the chester meet. I have to say i do agree with you, a good clean up is needed. Many people just seem to registerto sell their cars which i have to say is a bit shitty- many may disagree but im just voicing my opinion.

It would be good to have a clear out to see how many of us are actually still active.

Thought about time I posted some pics of my own Zed. Had it about 6 weeks. Imported from Japan. A 1991 Z32 2+2 TT with JWT ECU & Pop Charger, Electric Leather Seats and Bum Warmers, 36K Miles, and a few other bits!! Pics can be found in my Rides section - ImpulseTT. I'm a first timer so be gentle. Live in Portsmouth and would be keen to get together with other Zed owners.

But surely you are only a new boy yourself? Perhaps you should spend a few more months on here before trying to dictate to others!

And if people want to sell their cars in the FOR SALE section...What's the problem...a "member"might get to hear about a great car?

Yep - another real owner. 1989 J import TT 2+2 silver. Pic below & 2 more in rides.

 

But for me the more the merrier - even if they're just interested. Why not? It might be an idea, tho', to have membership expire after (say) a year unless renewed? So if people have just registered to sell (why wuold anyone want to sell a ZX without buying another?), they would fall off the list eventually.

i own one had now for over a year, used to have a supra, the z is much better. got jap import T.T its had mods. turbo timers, racing steering wheel. with a nice z button in the middle with my cruise control buttons, f.40 spoiller, its cost me a lot over the passed year but who cares its only money.

Well, Robb, I did not buy the Zed for its fuel economy - I bought it because it's a stunning looking car and you can mod it left, right and centre!

 

Should look good anywhere, let alone Newquay! I am supposed to be going on a trip of the UK soon, as summer is approaching and then my weekends are spent on various battlefields dressed in about 6 stone of chainmail and armour smacking 7 months of good for the roses out of friends with 31" of tempered steel, so I could well end up in Newquay at some point!

Impulse, I'm in Pompey too but not seen yours about yet - will keep my eyes peeled. Me in graphite stock Jspec which you'll see about Southsea most times...
