just had to take wheel off to because off rubbing on inner wheel arch

and it looks like a bombs gone off

and i think its called a carbon cainster is in bits and holes in hard pipes going to it .what does it do and do i need to get a new one . and what is it doing to the engine /fuel system not being on there

I've probably still got mine in the garage if it's deffo the CC that's gone and you need another bud... Not sure if the CC is identical on NAs and TTs though :confused:

Rather than mess up the other thread anymore about the carbon canister mate I will ask here, what air intake pipes were undone? I removed most of mine when I fitted the Blitz filter as they are made redundant.

the ones that are a 90 that go to to the large intake pipe onto afm

Well they need to be nice and tight so it could be a reason for not being able to hear anything, these are the bits I removed, might be an idea to do that while you are ripping the CC out if they are still there.

Yup, removed all them and capped it off.

just to be 100% all this was removed and then caped off

Thats it, I used the rubber feet people put under the legs of furniture to cap them off, fits just right with a cable tie over them just to make sure as it will suck crap into the engine if they came off.
