Clutch Slave Cylinder seal kit

My clutch slave cylinder has been leaking for a while now (2 years!) so I purchased a seal kit off Mike at MJP.

Has anyone replaced their slave cylinder seal before? Any info as to what is involved would be much appreciated before I get under the car

Not done a re-seal mate but can take a cylinder off in my sleep now! :o

Just a matter of pulling out the pushrod and piston and remove the old seal, fit the new one making sure it's the right way round and check the cylinder for scoring etc.

HTH!

p.s new cylinders are £48 IIRC! ;)

Same problem I've got, how much did you get the seal kit for cybernet?

I've had the kit for almost 2 years as well! Don't think it was expensive though. I'll let you know how I get on with it...

Ok keep us posted, this is my next job.

Changed the seal today. Easy (if messy) job. Only took about 10 mins with the car jacked up at the front. Will let you know if my leak has now stopped :D
