The z i just bought has only been in the country since feb it has been delimited and the clocks chaned for mph.

As a whole the car seems un abused and in very good nic the engine is very clean no signs of oil or any leakage.

Is any one able to tell me if there is any problems i should specificaly look out for with it?

Thanks.

Check that it hasn't previously had a boost controller. Sometimes they get removed and not put back to standard as they should have been. Just check the actuators are plugged in. Unfortunately with mine, one of the actuators had been left unplugged due to a boost controller being fitted and whilst the engine was amazing when I got it, due to unlimited boost, it quickly wore it out.

Also, is yours auto or manual? If it's auto you'll need a tx oil cooler fitted.

Overheating is common, get some aftermarket gauges as the stock ones are inacurate and you'll realise that when it's too late, especially if you do top speed tests.

The turbo set up all looks fine actuators all plugged in and the standard boost guage in the dash doesnt go off the chart like my celica used to when i turned up the boost seems to be boosting in the normal range.

Theres a bit of wobble at 40+ seems to be prop related that started a day after i got it nearly dissapears after about 20mins of driving would you know if its likely to be the prop bearing and is it easy enough to replace with the car on jacks?

water temp never rises above nominal on the standard guage it doesnt seem to suffer from heat at the moment but i have got a blatz cable on its way and the software so that should be able to give me accurate readings of temp so i can watch out for high temps, would you knof if fitting an aftermarket oil cooler on a tt manual would help reduce the risk of over heatin or would the standard cool be sufficient?

You need an after market oil cool for the autobox if it's an auto, or it'll go bang quickly.

def replace the gauges thou, boost oil pressure and water temp at min.

its manual but i will be replacing guages as advised.

Cheers,
