i know, i know but i couldn't help but sit there and pick out holes. i couldn't stand the fact that a mitsubishi eclipse done 120 to 140 mph in about a second according to his gauge and the fact that it was overtaking a veilside RX-7. apart from that and a few other silly bits it weren't bad!

Watched it on DVD, but had a dodgy SCART lead. Cut a long story short etc etc.. we assumed the film was some "cuttin edge" filming technique. Everyone had blue faces and the main character drove a really dodgy coloured Ford Pickup .... BUT... The night scenes shows the Civics with the most weird, deep-neon blue back lights which looked the dogs spuds. Not seen lightin effects like that since the old warehouse parties of '89.

 

 

Thinkin of hirin the said lead out for parties etc

i seen that movie a while a go i was well happy with it considering that it was just a movie certainly gave me a buzzz!

but a few weeks later i bought me a manual zed then i wasssssssss buzz in

what sort of a film would the FAF been with auto cars? the cast would have been one legged old farts in lazy boy type recliner seats.

Ian there might be a faster manual than urs somewhere but he probably wouldnt like to beat you cos youd just get out and beat him........... literally!!

you know why the auto is faster,,,,,,don't ya..the turbo keps spining all the way through the gears, none of that hard work on the left side of the body, leaving time to eat McDs............................

Well after all the hype about this film,I watched it yesterday,the cars were brill loved that RX7,But the film WHAT A LOAD OF COMPLETE SHITE!

I agree actually. what a load of shite. was it the part where the supercharger belt on the yank broke and was still outdoing the supra? that was the bit that done it for me!

true!! dont forget though MAC1 all they wanted the cars for was an hour long film. they didn't care about anything else after that!!!!!

 

shame about what they did to the yank. something did really strike me though.....the supra looks amazingly like the 300!!!
