hi there,

if you check in the FAQ section at the top of the page you should find a buying guide, which will have everything you need.

I'd recomend going for a Club member owned car if you can, at least that way you know its been owned by an enthusiast with access to the clubs knowledge, and you can even read through current owners posts to see history on the car.

i can seem to find any info on the non turbo manual zx

Well I run a non-turbo manual Zed and it's been brill - use its as a daily driver and get 24 mpg. It's kept on the drive in all weathers and always starts first time.

In 2 years I've had to replace the starter motor and the radiator, both sourced from this site at sensible prices.

Performance, although not quite in the TT class, is excellent.

the guy ive been chatting to with the non turbo for sale says hes had friends with turbos and they alot of bother and cost alot of money to put right and would advise to stay clear of them.he also tells me the non turbo is just as much fun.what do you think?

well i love my na swb. i smile every time i drive it. like you said not tt power but no tt trouble either LOL

test drive both and decide from there i made my choice as i use mine as a daily driver ect and cant afford to replace turbos if they go ect

good luck in you decision

well he's hardly likely to tell you any different if HE'S SELLING IT is he lol :nelson:

you'll find loads of for and against tt/na's up to you to decipher the info from

it mate

i myself wouldn't have anything but a tt but others will tell you.......................

was thinking along the lines also of the non turbo version with not having to worry about blowing the turbos.also insurance on the tt is horrendous!

I have a UK twin turbo for sale in the FOR SALE section of this site. Run an insurance qoute with BELL.CO.UK. Because its a UK classic car its dirt cheap to insure. Much cheaper than an import N\A. UK cars will be about half as cheap to insure even tho they're exactly the same car! By the way if you want a gooden, buy mine ;)

i ran an insurance quote for your car and it came in at £2000!

You must be about 18 then. I'm 26, paying £500 fully comp on my TT Zed. That's unlimed mileage and I have 6 points.

It is stored off the road though, in a garage in the middle of Somerset, so that might be a considerable factor.

im 23. thats with 5 years no claims.im from northern ireland you see and that could be a problem.and you know what they say about northern ireland

Christ! Was that on a UK car? I'm 21 with 2 yrs no claims and I pay £765 Third party fire and theft. Would've been about £950 fully comp! Put your mileage as under 6000 because that counts as limited miles.

i just bought a swb na its an auto but i cant help but have a huge grin on my face frm the minuite i start the engine to the minute i switch it off again probaly best to start with an na before gettin the power of a tt anyway??

try sky insurance they did a very good quote for my import £1800 1year ncd

are they an english company? i know a lot of english companies will not insure northern ireland postcodes.

not sure but they specialise on import performance cars

tried them on friday and they wont insure in northern ireland
