Eibach Springs Query

Bought some springs off a forum member

Just a quick question for those of you in the know -

which number pair goes at the back front?

which way is the writing when installed (the right way or upside down)?

I am guessing the code is 6320.001 or 6320.002

cheers :)

they only fit on the right shock so you cant get them the wrong way round.

The Fronts are progressive, the rears are'nt....so I presume they must differ. Mine came fitted to my new shocks so I did'nt really look.

When you dismantle your old shocks to get the fittings off them, you can compare the springs directly, it's very clear which ones are which then.

Although saying that, I took my NSF spring off yesterday, and it was 1/3 longer than the new one, i.e. completely shagged, but then it was 15 years old.

Cheers all

Like I say I hav'nt started the job yet just wanted to be prepared, i.e. not in the 5hit! when I take em apart.

i was there when my mechanic asked this same question, within 2 mins he'd found the answer, from what i can remember you can get them wrong, one set are wider at the bottom i think and therefore will only sit properly on the appropriate shock..

i think its the back thats wider... but not 100%
