Just exactly WHY are Jap cars so much more reliable? What are they doing differently andwhy havent all the other manufacturers started doing whatever it is teh Japs are?

 

no one has ever had a serious answer to this question but id love to know!

Japanese people are Enthusiastic/proud/put realistic budgets into development and are capable of turning idea's into actual production....

know techs at nissan & mitsibushi & all say there having loads more problems now days

They're cleverer and more industrious than other nations.

Clever and inovative manufacturing philosophies developed over several decades - these have in turn led to better supply chain quality, efficient production lines, methodical and respectful employees and generally a more reliable & cheaper product. Shame that in general they can't quite grasp the style & flair of Italian designers (Zed & a few others excepted)
