Trying to establish whether the new rims I've just got have clear anodised rims or polished rims.

 

Is there a way of telling?

Get in touch with the manufacturer perhaps, I can't think of another way without damaging them

Wheels that are anodised are usually not aluminium in colour, but either pinky or a very light greeny colour. if your wheels are aluminium in colour (silver) it sounds as though they are polished.

Anodising actually dyes the metal, polishing is what it says. So in most cases you ought to be able to tell, especially if the metal is 'metal' coloured, if you see what I mean.

Yup, sorry, items in question are polished. Just wasn't sure if there was an anodising that would create a highly reflective surface.
