I have some which I dont want anymore as i'm doing a boot install, they sound great, they have a "spider" motif on the speakers, do you know what make they are.......??

If your interested then you can have them, just pay postage and they are yours, i'll take some pics in the morning of them and put them up for you.

cheers

Andy.....

Halford sell the JBL ones for around £50 and they are a very good upgrade.

Apache's link to Low Cost Car Audio is the best though - excellent price and they deliver quickly too. I have bought a few items from them on the 'net.

Richard :)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

no worries mate, thats what we are here for..........

I had to rip out my original factory fitted 6x4 rear speakers with tin snips and my replacement Alpine 6x4 speakers only mounted across a diagonal on two screw holes. But as these speakers were not meant to kick out a lot of bass it was not a big problem. Pop the speaker covers with a flatblade screwdriver.

Andy - I'd love to have your old speakers if they're going - the standard ones aren't up to much are they!!

I'd happily pay postage etc....

Andy..

Nice one Andy, that's great!

Can't wait to get a decent sound system in the Zed...

Christian

My rearswere round and factory fit.

Not all gaps are 6x4.

Put in alpine 6" IIRC, mounted the tweeter components on lower edge of rear window surround.

Not a bad sound.

I got some JBL ones from hellfrauds for £40 i think, they still aint working though I think the bandit that owned the car previous to me knew absolutely fook all about cars and has messed up the wiring somehow and I havent gotten round to tracing it all yet.

Did you get round to getting those speakers weighed Andy?

No worries if you didn't...
