I ordered my KYB AJX shocks from an ebay seller just over a month ago. Waited three weeks and heard nothing. After numerous unanswered messages and e-mails, I resorted to filing a complaint with PayPal. Finally they responded, saying that the first set had got lost and they would send another set. Got my UPS tracking number (which I didn't get for the "missing" set) and all looked good.

This is what I ordered - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8040912863&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1

They finally arrived today and what did I find when I opened the box - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KYB-GR-2-GR2-SHOCKS-NISSAN-300ZX-90-96-1990-1996_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33590QQitemZ8048793863

I am fooking furious and just sent them a shitty message "expressing my disappointment" ;)

Will keep you informed of progress...

Steve, get back on to Ebay and point out what they have done. They will investigate and refund your money. I did this with an air filter, I paid for Airmail and the US nobby sent it overland, after waiting 10 days I complained. I got a full refund from Paypal.

LOL - thanks fellas (and Greg :slap: )

I have tried to file a PayPal dispute but as I have already filed one for this transaction (and closed it on receipt of my tracking number  ) I can't seem to do anything

I've filed a complaint with PayPal Europe and explained the background. We'll see what they say..

Oh look, a nice auto response...

Dear Steve

Thank you for contacting PayPal in regard to the transaction ID

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.

I’m sorry to hear about that and I wish you the best for future

transactions.

After reviewing your correspondence, I can see that you want to re open

the case or file a new complaint.

If a Buyer Claim is canceled, you are agreeing the complaint has been

satisfactorily resolved. Once this complaint has been canceled, PayPal will immediately cease its investigation and will not re-open any

investigation into this complaint.

I understand your frustration regarding this matter and regret any

inconvenience it might have caused you.

Will see what they say first. At least one other member has ordered from them without a problem and their feedback is pretty good.

I've ordered from them before and had no probs, so best of luck buddy, I'm sure it can be sorted

Its a well known fleabay scam.

The coonts get you to agree and then you cant complain. but you cant take your case forward till you agree.

Meanwhile the fookers all go down the pub together.

I say we should all bid on the fook and bail out.

As stated, Tony had no problems and was very pleased with the service and the product received. I think I've just been unlucky - one of the few who's had a problem

Woohoo - AGXs arrived today!

Now I've just got to send back the GR2s at a cost of £50, claim back the tax/duty I had to pay on the second delivery and finally claim the return shipping back from the seller  All in all, it's been a PITA, but I'm pleased that I can finally get round to fitting them :D

Glad you got sorted mate :) but it does further highlight the "odd" problem with shipping from the US via Ebay or not. Not only has this caused you delays, you've paid out an extra 50 quid for shipping em back, 2 lots of duties and now have to wait for supplier to reimburse you all this money if he agress with your figures and possibly via paypal, so don't forget the fees!

I quoted a guy the other day for a set these from stock at around 25 quid more than what these are coming in from ebay at, gotta wonder if all the hassle and expense sometimes incurred is worth it for the "possible" savings

Keep us posted on how he deals with teh refunds anyways bud.

cheers

Why do'nt you keep both sets and sell the GR2s to cover your costs??

Why do'nt you keep both sets and sell the GR2s to cover your costs??

thats a good idea f**k them not your fault they sent you the wrong set plus all the inconvenience they caused you, just sell them on the forum :D

I would just tell them you expect them to be collected once they have refunded you the tax.

Spoke to Customs today - I need to fill out a claim form and send them proof of return

I do agree with Smithy's sentiments. If something goes wrong it's a PITA to get sorted :(

CheerZ for all the advice though fellas
