I lost my dad when i was 15 to cancer. I'm now 23. i havent done anything for cancer research not even donated. thats bad considering what they did to help my dad live those last extra few years. get this I'M FUCKING GAME FOR THIS. If you aint got the petrol to run a Z you shouldn't drive one.

 

Point 2: big engines use less petrol on a long run as opposed to round town. Come on guys lets do something to really get our names up there?!!!!

This thing is for CHARITY and worth every effort and I for one would be proud to :

 

a) own my own Z instead of a pile of shit Alpine!

b) be part of this thing (hehe, me gonna try and get the Saab classic 900 guys involved through a Japanese loophole, i.e Mitsubishi turbo on mine)

c) do something for others when you yourself could be unfortunate enough to actually benefit from money raised from this sort of thing.

 

Anyway, the cannon ball run had everything from ambulances to Lambos, so why dont we see if we can get some other guys and car forums interested. The more people the more money!

 

Oh yeah, and while im on the subject, I went to a meet with me bro and im going to the Chester one tomorrow. See, to me its all about the cars and not the political bullshit that clouds peoples judgements. I've always been made to feel welcome by the guys on here, even though i did try and keep up with a GTO at Johnnies in me 900! Not a good idea! Later.

Yes, I would be interested in this, as per my mails to Matty about this last year. Am still interested and maybe it will chivvy me up to get my bumper on and the re-spray done..

 

Get little enough chance to drive the Zed as it is, so this would be a great plan. But I also like the fact that I still have a clean licence and need to keep it that way for work, if nothing else, so racing of any description is out - another reason why this being a run is a good idea.

 

Anyway, upshot of all this, if it does get off the ground, then count me in.

I'm up for this too!!! And who can honestly say that when they've been running against other 300s, they haven't had the odd breif run up to 140 and back? or maybe even more I know I have (and do ).

 

This would be a real good crack and to be honest licenses are far more likely to stay intact on A roads...

 

Just another thought - don't you need some kind of permission off the filth for organised road events - which this is Not that I always stick to the law - could just do with less hastle
