Anyone want the next set?

As i've done all this work to Tony's & my car

& this set has been earmarked allready!

Does anybody else want a set?

Its on an exchange basis...ie, I send you this, then you send back your old bits to be re-worked for the next person & so on.

The filter is a new one by the way smile.gif

As said when his set is returned - you will get yours, i'll keep you posted on times etc.

And this biggrin.gif

exchange_coil_pack___bracket.jpg

The cruise unit & coil pack/bracket are not exchange items yet. Unless any of you has a spare, to which we can work somthing out smile.gif

These require a different treatment to the other parts.

And yes this is my 'Z' & it is this clean!

harve.......& no its NOT for sale.

The silver pipe in front of the b/fluid pot,

'stop asking' its only a test piece for now!

wink.gif

ah harve, yer back, the bits are very nice, but in the 1st picture at top, are they polished or chromed ? and if i dont want all items can we buy just some ?

smithy

Hi mate,

Everything is polished.

Sure i can split it up if you need only a bit or two, or if there is anything else you need done.

Fuel pipes & clip kit not quite finished yet.

One minor hiccup in the exchange policy is that the link pipe seems to vary between auto and manual ! As I just acquired one for my manual conversion (and being bored painted it blue) I will shortly have a spare auto version available. The difference is that there is an extra take off point , presumably for the clutch servo assist.

I guess you could use the manual version for everything and just cap the tube on autos.

Might post a pic of the difference later when I get home ...

I was exiled to the garage, but I did leave them to dry on the Aga. Actually, I think she's a bit wierd because she likes the smell of paint ! biggrin.gif

Ok then, it seems the first kit will be on an auto.

I have a manual, but did my car last october, so differances slipped my mind, BUT who would have thought it 'eh'.

Ian, is yours 'jockey wheel'(auto) or a 'thrash it' manual?

Has anyone got a 'manual' ballance bar they have spare, you will be cared for.

Harve,

Can you polish ally? Like timing covers and plenum chambers etc?

If so how much?

They are pretty flat so should be quite straight forward.

Jezz.

Jezz,

The rad angle in the 1st pic is 'ally',

the rad brackets are 'en1a', the bal/bar is 'zinctec1', & the pas/res is 'zinctec3', smile.gif

The plenum - - i just need one to treat & polish. Im not brave enough to remove mine for a trial as the cars spot on.

As a rule if its not 'carbon' cast it can be treated & polished.

If you have any questions, fire away mate.

harve

WTF are 'en1a', 'zinctec1' & 'zinctec3'?

You don't have to explain, I can semi-guess, besides I doubt I'd be too intersted in the answer, and therefore wasting everyones time.

I'm babbling, I must be stoned, goddam weed.

Anyway...

How much for a plenum chamber or a timing cover, I got a few spares. smile.gif

The S13 chamber is slightly bigger than yours (4 pot), and not really sure about the timing cover, probably about the same as 1 of yours.

Jezz.

Jezz,

Send a mail pic to the above & give your requirements.

harve

Harve, on TT.NET they found a polisher who did an ace job on the Zed plenum, so they did a kinda group buy on it, you fancy the same ?? dunno if i'll get me Stillen one from Johnny, so could send you a spare one, any ideas on rough cost M8 ???
