Hi. I know this is a lot to ask as I have only yesterday joined the forum and don't know anyone yet nut, if there is an impartial member local to knutsford who fancies a trip out to do something tomorrow afternoon then let me know.

 

I am making a long trip up from Somerset to have a looksie at a red tt targa for sale that used to belong to a forum member off of here (Tizer I believe).

 

In all fairness the response I have seen on here to this car is good and the only things the current owner has mentioned as issues seem to be simple and common so I would hope all will be ok :)

 

I have printed off the buyers guide and am armed with a new wealth of knowledge from searching around on here but, a second opinion is always best. I will see the shiney bits and become mesmorised :rolleyes:

Tizers car?? He first sold it, then it was sold on ebay a few months ago now t's for sale again?? That is one very cared for Z if it's Tizers old Z, I cannot believe somebody is selling it so quick?? You should be ok with that one mate.

Yes it appears to be the exact same one. I am very glad I came onto here first because the response has been positive re Tizers old car.

 

The only person who hasn't said that it's nice yet is the man himself lol.

seen his car and it is a good one. hope who ever had it after him looked after it like he did. if so then your av a good un

yizers car will have been well looked after by him, however its had 2 more owners since then and not for very long either so i'd be careful incase its getting sold due to it getting problems.

 

Hopefully you'll get someone to come with you mate

Yes Tizers car WAS a good one but ANYTHING could have happened to it in the 12 months or so that he sold it. Dont go with thoughts on buying the thing, keep a level head as there are many many good examples out there.

Saturday afternoon I have to be in Borunemouth and I don't care how fast you lot reckon these zx's are I can't do both lol.

 

I have someone coming to have a look now who is a bit spanner savvy, so with the buying guide I have printed off of here I reckon I should be ok.
