Since having to fit neww 555's and subsequent John DIxon chip I am getting serious misfires when booting it. As this I dont tend to do it that much I havennt noticed it, but last night I thought I would have a laugh in the wet.

No Laugh, It was so bad my mate who was following me told me shit loads of flames where comming out the back and my 0-60 was about 10 seconds. I thought the engine was gona pop through the bonnet

Anyone out there can help?

Hi Mate,

Get a copy of Eric's (Lymon) rescale program:

http://300zx-twinturbo.com/temp/rom_rescale.1.1.exe

This will let you to rescale a 340cc map to 555 (and other configurations), which you can then burn to a chip.

I'm currently running a re-scaled (for 555's) map from my original OEM chip.

See the thread on zcontrol.net:

Simon.

Its already chipped for it.

check sparkplug gap (should be ~ 0.8mm) and/or replace sparkplugs completely

Its already chipped for it.

Just because it's been chipped doesn't mean it's the right chip for your setup.

Often takes a lot of tweaking to get right.

theres a supprise, only prob is the only thing im any good at tweaking is nipples. so thats me fooked then

i PM'ed him but no reply. not sure he's about

Hi Dave,

When did you PM mate, haven't got it. My home PC is broke at the minute so not on much.

It sounds like either plugs or boost leak if it's only on max boost.

Drop me a line if you want and we can have a chat.

Cheers
