Ok, today I was looking closely at my rear stock spoiler and found that it is not actually cracked in any place and is in pretty good nick. Only the paint is flaked in places. I used a scrapper and got a small area of paint off. Now the question is how do I strip the entire paint of the spoiler with ease as using a scrapper will take me a few years ? I am hoping to strip the paint and repaint the whole spoiler afresh by myself. This is my cheapest option at the moment.

Any ideas guys ?

the key to painting it is the preparation and the paints/primers used. i would recommend, paint strip, degrease, a very light but thorough rub down with 600 grit paper. then apply 2 thin coats of flexible primer (plasto flex) without rubbing down. then apply 2 or 3 coats of colour build primer and hardener seal allowing a good 10 hours between coats, but still dont do any rubbing down. now let the hardener seal cure, the longer the better...let it bake in the sun for days! once cured give it a good rub down to 800 grit paper and apply 3 coats of paint. finally slap on 2 coats of lacquer and rub down to 1500 to 2000 grit paper! rush it and it wont last long
