Bud, you really shouldn't be driving that car.

its my life line and i dont have much choice :(

You won't when either the bottom end goes because of the timing or the car blows up. :(

Buy a £50 car and get yours sorted. Seems like problem after problem. :(

Search is your friend.....

yes mate, remove throttle cover then tighten up any jubilee clips you see to wards the back of the engine.

Sorted ;)

That is of course unless your fuel line is damaged :(

i think you should take this car to one of the traders, (ztech, the zen garage, or zworx) to give your car the working over it need's.

but i had this problem, tightend all clips etc, bought a fuel line kit off smithy, and it turned out to be the fuel pressure regulator. so check this also.

I've had this problem and others have as well. It's very common on the Zeds as there are are alot of small fuel pipes with clips on that just need tweeking up. I have in the past put a bit of talc on the suspect pipe or pipes on the night, then in the morning start it up and see which one gets wet. If there is none at least you get a nice smelling engine LOL

I had a strong smell of fuel on start up, but it went once engine got warm. So went under the bonnet straight after starting up, looked around the fuel lines & saw the Fuel Pressure Regulator covered in Fuel. Having it changed now. Will update with results when I get my Zed back.

no reason to expect any fuel smell(except from exhausts as Zed's run rich). If you smell unburnt fuel, then you have leaks.

shake some talc on fuel lines .next morning start up , u will see leak tighten screws job done
