just need a little help here!!!

 

right ive just purchaysed an xbox360 and want to use my desktop to get onto xbox live and was wundrin whats the easiest and cheapest way to do it???? oh yeah i want wireless connection!!!

 

as far as i know i need a wireless receiver think its called (router) but does anyone know what else i need cables etc etc

    to have a 360 wireless you will need to buy the 360 wireless adapter which is around £60.00.then you will need a router with wireless connection once again around £60.00 depends on make if you want to know which makes are good or bad pm me.which server are you with at mo and what type of connection is it i.e 1mb 2mb??.

    or you could get a router and use cable(ethernet).which will be cheaper depending how far your pc and 360 are together.ie pc upstaires 360 downstairs..anymore help i be glad to help

    Just set wireless up on my computer, its a pig! I had to keep returning routers, range expanders etc! Not compatible, you name it, i found a problem!

    Netgear sells good stuff - stick to one make for all the stuff you buy though. There may be a compatibility list on a web site somewhere of tried and tested makes

    you dont need to buy the wireless adapter for the 360 all you need is a wireless router and a wireless access point and your done I can tell you what stuff im using if you like I have the 360 with this setup its easy to do
