Hi Guys / Girls.....

has anyone had any dealings with THOR Racing in Coventry......

the reason I ask is because i went with my mate to Rogue Systems with his MR2 turbo for a service, THOR is just round the corner so we asked if they could wire in his Blitz boost controller and then set it up for him which they did...... the guy who set it up wasn't very helpful and didn't speak hardly and we really had to probe him deep for any sort of conversation.

I already had mine booked in for a 2 hour session end of march to set up APEXI AVC-R and AFC-II and RSM.

Now, i thought i'd ask them whats involved and what the plan was for the session and to be honest i'm just about ready to tell them to stuff it cause they were more interested in p**sing around on their PC's in the office than talk to me, I wanted advice etc etc and they weren't interested, they just didn't seem bothered.... I told them about what mods have been done, are the mods good ones, and what BHP would they expect to see - a shrug of the shoulders is all i got !!!

Is that their mannerism or am I just being paranoid ??

Are they good at what they do and should I just accept it and carry on or do you know of anyone better to set up my car for me ?

cheers

Andy......

i went to them about 18 months ago to install an aftermarket boost gauge, an RSM, an S-AFC2 and a RR tune. They seemed friendly enough to me, they just cracked on with the job while i basked in the sun outside with my missus. mind you im not much of the talkative type but id use them again no problem.

Andy..

When you go there ask for Nod he's a top bloke and very knolagable, i would recommmend them highly.

No experience myself, but Thor are one of the top Tuners and dyno operators in the Country and have always been held high with praise, to my knowledge.

They are also a Sponsor of this club (see banners at top)

Quite a few members have experience.

I guess everyone has bad days and a single employee is'nt always representative of entire company.

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience.

I've just booked an SAFC/AVC-R map and power runs with them, seem polite and knowledgeable on the phone, even guessed my chip correctly :wack::D

Guess I'll see what they're like in person hehe

sorry its off topic but thats a gorgeous interior you have there mr red

thanks very much, I love it, the only thing is i'm scared of getting it dirty, I know my daughters going to get all scuff marks on the seats when she's in the back.......

I've already banned all kinds of food, sweets and drink in the car and if people wear jeans or jewellary then they must sign a "damage will be paid for" upon entering the car....LOL...

cheers

Andy....
