is there any was i can remove the aeriel and run a fixed aeriel wire through the trim of the boot and still keep decent reception... ?

 

i just recon it looks pretty dated and would benifit from being smoothed over and painted...

 

anyone done this??

i just run mine off my rear screen aerial - reception isnt *that* bad.

i had mine flushed and removed and put a arial in the top front window they cost around £10-£15 you get them from any car shop

max, sorry im having a thick day, but which window? my reception is crap but its worth getting rid of the aerial looks so much better

its already there, if you look at the aerial connector at the back of the radio, you will see 2 co-ax wires. the thicker one is the elec aerial, the thinner one is the rear screen
