It sounds like a genuine accident. The only reason why you might put a claim in was if you were from America

If i do claim i can fix my car a bit more lol :smash:

Dont claim, your life has not been affected by it etc etc so why put more stupid cases through court making all our insurences higher, but see if you can get some free fish and chips as a sorry from them. Thats fair enough.

take some homeopathic arnica (it will help with the swelling )

if you are still in pain go see an osteopath who does cranial work

Maybe being a bit of a stupid monkey here ... don't all businesses have indemnity insurance? ... how does that effect car insurance?

If it doesn't then I say claim from them .... they are covered, you get some cash ... sorted ... ONLY if it doesn't effect car premiums ... LOL ...

Extra dosh for the Z .... and to be honest that is why these businesses take out the insurance ... because you never know what is going to happen ...

dont put a claim in if its a genuine accident. otherwise every chippy in the country will have to have health and safety checks, overhead lights will be banned because of this one accident, the price of chips will go up to compensate for the extra paperwork and checks that will have to be carried out every hour to make sure thousands of light guards arent falling down and beheading people in chippies up and down the country. and im not trying to be funny. only americans claim for everything that goes wrong (and liberal d!cks over here who think the whole world and everything in it should revolve around them). im sure a week's worth of free chips would be an amicable agreement between gentlemen.

unless they laughed at you when it happened in which case torch the joint

i bet loads of (chavy)people would try and claim.

but personally, i wouldnt mate, just have a laugh about it :x:

its a good story to tell your mates down the pub though

Arnica is good stuff ! Follow this womans recommendations !

Totally irelevant, but Rustox is great for sunburn ! :)

Sorry,

Alan........

C'mon, be honest mate - you went in there and asked if the fish-wife would fit your BOVs for you and she twatted you with a jumbo sausage.

Businesses however small or big should have indemnity insurance. Yes it seems it was a genuine accident, then again thats why we have insurance. Indemnity insurance has nothing to do with car insurance ! Where do you get your info from !

I personally would take a claim against them as this is a public health and safty issue and living in a world of utopia this should not happen. Any head injuries, and trust me I knowas the missus is a doctor is not taken lightly. You may have a small gash in the head but you donot know what the long term impact is inrespect to internal bruising/haemorraging etc. A small clot not treated can easily lead to severe complications etc.

I am not trying to be a scare monger here but firstly get yourself checked out by the hospice. Then get in touch with a no win no fee basis lawyers (many advertised on telly) and get the ball rolling. If you definitely feel you don't deserve the compensation then give it to charity.

Cannot be any fairer than this.

Claim.........?????

Ask what would you have thought about this even 20 years ago.

Shit happens.

You only claim if someone was clearly negligent (sue the sparky who put the lights up?) and / or if the company didn't act on your incident and put it right to make sure things won't happen again to someone else.

Claiming just adds fuel to the fire that has got us all living as paranoid wrecks e.g. My kids not being able to learn how to dive because councils have taken all the diving boards out swimming pools (for fear of claims).

Sure it may sound like a quick money grabber but it is the most Chavvy of 'careers'.

As a Z owner i take it you enjoy living life with a feeling of a certain freedom and those freedoms are under attack due to the 'no-win-no-fee' culture.

I had an accident on holiday last year 4 stitches in my foot trip to hospital etc. Did I claim NO because the guy who caused the problem apologised, put it right and I want us all to keep enjoying cheap holidays in the Sun. He explained to me If I had claimed he would have had his apartments taken out of the brochure and lost his business. When I got back from the hospital and told the rep everything was cool I had dinner with his family.......Result "any time you want to stay chris call me........."

Do the right thing - Free chips is the deal.......and sleep at night knowing you are free of chavness!

Chris

im right with you there Mines  these no-win no-fee lawyer tossers are partly what's bringing this country down. would you sue your mate if you tripped on his doorstep or got bitten by his dog???

Keeping your chin up and just taking it is what makes (what's left of us) British.

Suing means "someone help me im a ponce and i cant do anything for myself :mac1: "
